We have currently disabled the ability to create an Account on AceofSpades Telford. We use Facebook and Google currently for people to provide reviews of our services, please visit Facebook and Google websites for information on their privacy policies. We plan to allow customers to leave reviews in future as our website develops.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

You can use our contact form on our webpage, the messages will be kept in our AceofSpades email address. We will retain the email while we deal with your query and delete it when we have completed the query or correspondance.

WooCommerce Cookies

We use WooCommerce to manage and display the different services we use. However we have disabled to login and purchase elements of WooCommerce, so your personal data is not stored by AceofSpades Telford.

To keep track of cart data, WooCommerce makes use of 3 cookies:

  • woocommerce_cart_hash
  • woocommerce_items_in_cart
  • wp_woocommerce_session_

The first two cookies contain information about the cart as a whole and helps WooCommerce know when the cart data changes. The final cookie (wp_woocommerce_session_) contains a unique code for each customer so that it knows where to find the cart data in the database for each customer. No personal information is stored within these cookies.

How long we retain your data

Currently, we have disabled the ability to create user accounts and leave comments while we develop the website, once we enable these functionalities the following will apply.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. Facebook Feed WD

This website makes use of Facebook API to receive public data for facebook feed. If your Facebook data is accidentally cached in our website you may request to delete your Facebook data with feed data please contact us data@aceofspadestelford.co.uk.

Facebook will load some script elements and embedded content which may track visitors. Facebook embeds are regulated under terms of Facebook Privacy Policy
